SWEAT aka Strong Women Empowering Athletes Together is a community for women at 3STEP and beyond to help all of the female athletes within the 3STEP ecosystem.
Overview
I was the main designer for the creation of this group. I created the logo, emails, and website.
SWEAT wanted a unique website to represent strong women while also clearly explaining what SWEAT is and how to join. So I created a logo and a website that represented just that.
Overall Solution
Leveraging my skills, I initiated the creation of the logo with a clean design, that used straight lines to give the strong vibe while keeping in curves and illustrations to represent the women that run and are represented by the organization.
With the website, I used a dark background so the photos, stats, and bright purple would really standout. While considering the brand identity, WCAG, and readability.
Process
This project was a very quick turn, so we shortened our process a bit for this site. We brainstormed as a team of what would be the most important to include on the website on first launch. We determined, 'what is sweat', statistics, ambassadors, and CTAs for people to join.
So we created two pages, the homepage, and then a place to showcase all of the ambassadors.
Results
With our teams efforts, SWEAT got a new website that was a place people could learn more about SWEAT, while also being able to sign up to join, or apply to a board position.
My Impact
This case study shows my ability to both create logos, a brand, and a website all in combination. I started off with the logo and brand and then brought those throughout the website. During the UX portion of the project I showcased content-focused transformations, while creating high fidelity designs during the UI phase. I was able to showcase my skills in content design, user experience, and collaboration with the other members of my team throughout the process.
